Outside the Window

Decided to do some random Writing Prompts. I'm going to try to do these 365. So without further ado:

~~~
It's a warm summer evening in the North. Not a rare occurrence exactly but a welcome one. The sun is shining... somewhere, certainly not into the south and east facing windows I have. Damn sun think it's better than me. Well, maybe it is, maybe it is. Who knows, maybe all these spots on the sun are actually very slow whistling of a tune too slow for even whales to comprehend? Maybe it's creating the most beautiful song this solar system has ever seen? And what if we never find out? Would that be ironic or just dumb?
But back to the window. There's trees outside. Trees, birds, mosquitoes and one very determined cat waging a one sided war on the birds. It has claimed dozens of lives, but its demands are not being met. Not even because birds don't negotiate with terrorists, but just because they don't care enough to care. So the war rages on- as merciless as it is pointless (for this is no hungry cat, it is an angry spirit that will not eat its catch, opting instead for stealing dog food.)
English Dick
3 panel comic. Panel 1: A Scotsman covered in woad (think Braverheart) stands with his sword upraised. Behind him are other armed Scotsmen. Scotsman: The English eat dick! Panel 2: A redcoat sergeant and captain are eating Spotted Dick out of a can. Sergeant: They got us there, Sir. Captain: Oh, well. Panel 3: Same, a cannon and cannon crew. Captain: Fire the cannon.
Porqee Peeg
One Panel. A cartoonish Mexican is situated in the middle of three concentric circles. On his face you can see the results of a beating (perhaps a black eye and a cracked lip.) His arms are outstretched in the classic Porky Pig gesture of "That's all folks". His hands however are folded into the spanish gesture of outraged misunderstanding (fingers and thumb folded together in an upward direction.) The caption reads "¿Por qué, pig?" or possibly "Por que peeg?".
